The segment-leading Chevrolet Camaro opens a new chapter as the 2011 Camaro convertible premieres at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The new convertible begins production in January and goes on sale in February. It includes an enhanced body structure and well-tailored top mechanism - a combination designed to deliver sports coupe-like driving fun and precise quality.

        use, providing full race calibration and two-stage launch control in

        installed after the vehicle is purchased; accessed by a specially
        programmed vehicle key, new code coexists with stock Boss software,
        allowing drivers to choose between street or track use simply by
        selecting a key

        used, allowing owners to return to the stock setting by starting the car

LA Auto Show Presents More Than 50 Electric, Hybrid and Alternative Fuel Vehicles

LOS ANGELES,  With a continued focus on economic and environmental concerns, manufacturers are increasingly focused on high-mileage and low emission vehicles. DETROIT,  The 21st century rebirth of the Chevrolet Camaro opens a new chapter when the 2011 Camaro Convertible premieres at the Los Angeles International Auto Show on Nov. 17. 

The Camaro Convertible will arrive in Chevrolet showrooms in February 2011. Starting price will be $30,000, including $850 destination. (Full details will be released later this year.)

The new race-only V-10 powered rear-wheel drive 2011 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak features an 8.4-liter 512 cubic-inch engine with a 2-speed automatic transmission. When mated to the all-new 5.0L 4V TiVCT V8 engine, this 50-state-legal powertrain, can produce 624 hp SAE @ 6900 rpm and 536 lb-ft SAE @ 4700 rpm.  This is the first Twin-screw unit available to consumers.
