BLOOMINGTON, IN -RIS- Bryan Clauson's star continued to rise while Kevin Thomas Jr.'s and Jon Stanbrough's took dives. Thomas took the lead at the start of the Bloomington round of Indiana Sprint week after starting in the outside front row. He led the first 17 of 30 laps but slowed as his steering was giving trouble. As the race was drawing to a close he was forced to park his car because the brakes had failed.

PUTNAMVILLE, IN -RIS- After three nights of having the wind at his back it shifted Thursday night at Lincoln Park and ended Kevin Thomas Jr.'s three race winning streak. Dave Darland also suffered an ill wind as he he started a two race crashing streak. The beneficiary of all this was Bryan Clauson who drove the Tony Stewart Racing car past Chris Bell and on to victory in the fifth round of Indiana Sprint Week 2013.

TERRE HAUTE, IN -RIS- The half mile track know as the “Action Track” has seen its share of the great drivers and Kevin Thomas Jr. has become another name to add to that list. Kevin started in fifth place, took the lead on the first lap and went on to win his third Indiana Sprint Week feature in a row and his sixth USAC National Sprint Series feature in 2013.

LAWRENCEBURG, IN -RIS- Kevin Thomas Jr. is now officially the hottest driver in the USAC National Sprint Car Series as he backed up his Saturday Night Kokomo win with a win at Lawrenceburg on Sunday. It was his sixth USAC feature win of the year.

Starting on the pole Kevin was passed for the lead on lap one by Scotty Weir. The races only caution came on lap two when Chase Stockon went into the wall in turn four. On the restart Weir's car broke and Thomas took the lead which he would never give up. Dave Darland took up second place.

KOKOMO, IN -RIS- Kevin Thomas Jr. from Cullman, Alabama won the second round of Indiana Sprint Week as he claimed his first win at his favorite track the wide, fast Kokomo Speedway. “It sure is good to be here. Its taken me forever. I've always run here, this is my favorite track ever in the world!” Said Thomas on the winner's podium. It main competition was Wesley McIntyer who lead laps five through eight and was a solid challenger for the lead and was never further back than fourth through the thirty lap feature.

GAS CITY, IN -RIS- Jon Stanbrough got Indiana Sprint Week off to a rousing start as he won his 30th USAC feature at Gas City. Stanbrough now leads the series as he works for a third title.

Starting in second after qualifying seventh Stanbrough followed polesitter Chad Boespflug and fought off challenges from Bryan Clauson. Clauson lost third place on lap 13 when he drove over a tire which marked the bottom of the track in turn two. His car was sent airborne and Shane Cottle took advantage of him to gain the position. The top four drivers had separated from the rest of the field at this point.

PERRIS, CA -RIS- It didn't take long for Nic Faas to win his second USAC/CRA feature of 2013. Faas started third and fought with Cory Kruseman and David Cardey for the first 16 laps before taking the lead on lap 17 and going on to win the all green “Firecracker 30” at Perris Auto Speedway. Nic made his only mistake after the race was done as he fell while doing a victory 'Cage Dance'.

HAUBSTADT, IN -RIS- Bryan Clason has become the newest winner of the Indiana Sprint Week crown but it wasn't a great victory in the final race that sealed his title. It was rain. The seventh and final round for 2013 was declared a rain out at just after seven o'clock and everyone is packing and scattering. The cold front moved in at just the wrong time and it is forecast to stay for several days with scattered thunderstorms and so the Tri-State Raceway has given up and declared it a rain out.

Gas City, IN........Rains forced the cancellation of Friday night's Honda USAC Midwest Ignite Midget event at Gas City I-69 Speedway. The series resumes Saturday at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway.
