Austin Hill Dominates 2025 Atlanta Xfinity Race

HAMPTON, GA – RIS -Austin Hill won the Xfinity NASCAR Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in dominating fashion,  Hill won both stages and led for the majority of the race despite late runs by Aric Almirola and Justin Allgaier. In fact, Hill  led all but eight laps on the day.

Hill has won five of the last eight Atlanta races in the Xfinity Series. Imagine that. He is tied with Kevin Harvick for series wins at the track. Hill is also tied with Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Sr. for most drafting track wins in Xfinity Series history

 His victory comes a week after he was dominant at Daytona until a mechanical issue sidelined him. Richard Childress Racing teammate Jesse Love won that race.

Justin Allgaier finished second in Saturday’s race at Atlanta. Aric Almirola placed third, Sammy Smith was fourth and rookie Nick Sanchez was fifth.

Justin Allgaier, Aric Almirola, Sammy Smith and Nick Sanchez rounded out the top five.  Jeb Burton, Daniel Dye, Leland Honeyman, William Sawalich and Harrison Burton completed the top 10

Allgaier wheeled the No. 40 JRM entry to a ninth-place finish at Daytona in what was the organization’s Cup debut. Although Allgaier finished 18th in the Xfinity Series race a day prior, the No. 7’s speed was apparent from the jump, with Allgaier starting on the pole and leading 11 laps.

With fewer laps remaining, Allgaier and Almirola tried to disrupt Hill's momentum. Despite a wreck on the backstretch, Hill secured another win at his home track.
