Daytona 500 Starting Time Pushed Forward One Hour

(DAYTONA BEACH, FL - FEB 14, 2025 - RIS) NASCAR has announced that the starting time for the 67th Daytona 500 has been moved up one hour, due to the forecast of inclement weather setting in Sunday.

The broadcast schedules will begin at 1:30 PM Eastern Time on Fox, MRN Radio and SiriusSM NASCAR Radio. The green flag will fly at 2:00 PM. 

The race begins the Cup Series’ regular season with a purse of $30.3 million. Pole winning Chase Briscoe start first in the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota, flanked on the front row by Austin Cindric in the No. 2 Discount Tire Ford. Defending 500 champion William Byron starts fifth in the No. 24 Axalta Chevy.
