Charlotte Motor Speedway Big Screen Gets Updates

The new panels were installed during the summer of 2024

(CONCORD, NC – OCT 9, 2024 – RIS) The big screen at Charlotte Motor Speedway has just been upgraded since its construction in 2011. The new screen’s resolution has been upped from the original 720p resolution and the individual panels are more weather-resistant than the ones installed thirteen years ago.

The screen at the time of construction was the largest in the world. A couple of years later, the “Big Hoss TV” at Texas Motor Speedway became the largest, and a 10% increase in its size was announced last year. Both tracks are operated by Speedway Motorsports, Inc.
