Christian Eckes Dominates in Nashville Truck Race

NASHVILLE, TN - RIS - It was a dominating win for Christian Eckes.  Eckes went wire-to-wire in the Rackley Roofing 200, sweeping the stages and guiding the No. 19 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet to a 2.028-second margin of victory. His first win at the 1.33-mile concrete track was the eighth of his Truck Series career.  The victory meant an extra $50,000 payday for Eckes as the winner of the third and final race in this year’s Triple Truck Challenge incentive program. Other winners of the bonus in the three-race series this season were Corey Heim and Nick Sanchez.

Daniel Dye completed a 1-2 sweep for MHR, finishing a career-best second in the No. 43 Chevrolet. Heim drove home third, with Rajah Caruth fourth and Tyler Ankrum completing the top five.

Fox sportcaster and former Cup driver Clint Bowyer finished 17th in his first NASCAR national-series start since the end of the 2020 season. The former Cup Series standout, was involved in a multi-truck stack-up a Lap 60 restart, damaging his No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet.

Eckes is the first Truck Series winner to lead every lap in a race since Timothy Peters in 2012 at Bristol. Daniel Dye finishes second in a career-best finish, with Corey Heim, Rajah Caruth and Tyler Ankrum making up the rest of the top five.
