Chris Buescher Dominates Heat Race Two to Sit on the All Star Front Row

NORTH WILKESBORO, NC – RIS –Chris Buescher led every lap in the second heat race to start on the front row in Sunday’s NASCAR All Star race at the revitalized North North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday night.

Buescher was never headed. He easily moved to the front and stayed there.  Although there was rain in the area, it never slowed Buescher down even on rain tires..  He moved out to a several car length lead and continued on.

While Buescher was the lone leader in Heat 2, Austin Dillon emerged as the runner-up finisher after prevailing in a late-race battle with William Byron, last week’s NASCAR Cup Series race winner.

Brad Keselowski nudged his way past Bubba Wallace to score the fourth-place finish in Heat 2, and Wallace held on to finish fifth.
