NEW ADDITION TO EXHIBIT UNVEILED AT THE INDIANA STATE MUSEUM

"WOMEN IN BUSINESS OF MOTORSPORTS"

    INDIANAPOLIS... Twelve prominent women in the business of motorsport will be featured in a new addition to the traveling Women in the Winner's Circle exhibit to be unveiled at 3 pm Thursday, July 28 at the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indianapolis.

The traveling exhibit was created by Women in the Winner's Circle Foundation founder Lyn St. James in collaboration with The Henry Ford Museum of Dearborn, Mich.  The women featured are:

The expanded exhibit will be unveiled at a press conference at the Indiana State Museum where it has been on display since May and will continue to be through Labor Day weekend and the NHRA U.S. Nationals.

"Women have been working behind the scenes in motorsports for decades, but over the last few years, their presence as grown in both numbers and significance," says St. James. "It's important to bring their stories to the forefront to encourage more women who aspire to executive level positions in business to see that there are opportunities in motorsports."

Expected to attend the press conference will be motorsports industry leaders, drivers, and other supporters of the foundation, including:

Women in the Winner's Circle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on worldwide activities and programs for driver development, advocacy, diversity and education, particularly for women who aspire to become race car drivers and engineers in the automotive industry.
