Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Will Be Featured On World Of Adventure Sports Television Series On NBC Sports On July 16
Colorado Springs,-The 89th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb will be featured on the Saturday, July 16 broadcast of the World of Adventure Sports series on NBC Sports. (2:00-3:00 p.m. ET)
The Emmy Award-winning show will include a twenty-minute feature on the famed Colorado Springs motor sports classic, which takes place on June 26.
Additional multiple broadcasts of the show will air later on Versus and Universal Sports in the summer for millions of additional viewers. Versus is available in 75 million homes in the United States, and Universal Sports to another 63 million homes.
World of Adventure Sports is an action-adventure sports series hosted by Todd Harris. The show features an array of adrenaline-inspired feats and adventurous sporting events from around the world.
Anchor events are complemented by behind-the-scenes features on athletes, expeditions and the world of action-adventure sports. NBC is devoting top talent and producers to provide an entertaining look at a group of action-adventure events that, while popular around the world, have not been traditionally shown on American television.
