FORT WORTH, TX - RIS - For the third consecutive day, NASCAR had to postpone the Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway due to unseasonable weather.  The race started late on Sunday until fog and rain dominated the track and thed race was postponed until today.  Persistent rain and mist would not allow the race to start, and now it is set to resume on Wednesday, October 28th at 3:00 EDT.

The weather forecast shows only a short window without moisture tomorrow.  After this race, there are only two more to go in this unusual season.  Unfortunately, Martinsville Speedway's race is scheduled on Sunday, November 1st, with the championship final race at Phoenix the next week.   It would be hard to reschedule the final two races if rain persists.

The race will be broadcast on NBCSN.
