Byron on Pole for Rescheduled Alsco Uniforms 500

Rain Postpones Alsco Uniforms 500 Until Thursday
(CONCORD, NC - MAY 27, 2020 - RIS)
With continued inclement weather around the track, NASCAR has postponed the Alsco Uniforms 500 until Thursday.

The green flag is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with the action set to air on FS1.

Based on the finishing order from Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 with the top 20 finishers inverted, William Byron will start on the pole Thursday evening, after rain all day forced postponement of the Alsco Uniforms 500. Starting next to Byron is fellow Hendrick racer Alex Bowman in the No. 88 HMS Chevrolet.

The last 20 finishers from the May 24 event start from their finishing positions for the start of the Thursday race; any new entries will be placed at the tail of the field. Any teams that have driver changes will see those cars drop to the rear. Those drivers are noted by an asterisk (*).

After winning his first career Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday night, Brad Keselowski will start 20th in the No. 2 Team Penske Ford. Jimmie Johnson starts last in the field after his car failed post-race inspection, resulting in disqualification and a last-place finish Sunday.
