SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (May 30, 2019) –Guardian Alarm, Michigan’s largest, privately-held security company announced today a business partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR).

The deal will see Guardian branding on the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda of Five-Time NTT IndyCar Series Champion Scott Dixon, who has the most wins of any active NTT IndyCar Series driver, as well as the No. 1 Monster Energy Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 of former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kurt Busch.

Guardian Alarm is sponsoring the team at multiple INDYCAR and NASCAR races and will launch the partnership June 1 at the Detroit Grand Prix at Belle Isle in Detroit.

“By supporting the team, we’re supporting our customers that are passionate about the sport of racing, particularly in Michigan, Ohio and the surrounding areas.,” said Tom Erhardt, President and COO, Guardian Alarm. “We look forward to sharing in the success of our drivers Kurt Busch and Scott Dixon who will be racing this season with Guardian on their car. By supporting these drivers, we’re supporting their families and their fans, our valued customers.”

Guardian Alarm has provided services in Michigan and Ohio for more than eight decades, monitoring and protecting families and businesses, and bringing peace of mind to the communities where they live and work. Because Guardian Alarm understands how important it is to be passionate about what you do, the company wanted to engage in a sponsorship that had that type of relationship with their fans.

“When we began conversations with Guardian Alarm, we saw crossover between our team’s NASCAR and INDYCAR fans and their customer base,” said Doug Duchardt, COO, Chip Ganassi Racing. “The conversations moved quickly and we’re looking forward to having them as part of our partnership lineup. They have been following our racing programs very closely and we’ve already made some new business introductions, as well as some new fans.”
