INDIANAPOLIS -RIS- (May 15, 2019)  Just after five o'clock local time, IndyCar rookie and polesitter in last weekend's Grand Prix of Indianapolis, Felix Rosenqvist, lost control of his #10 NTT Data Dallara/Honda during practice for this year's Indianapolis 500.

Following fellow rookie Colton Herta after a lap of 218.641 mph, the talented Swede ran low in the middle of Turn 2, causing the back end of his car to snap out, causing the car to back into the Turn 2 wall.

As the car slid across the track, the cars of 2018 Indy winner Will Power and Jack Harvey just missed Rosenqvist's wreck.

Emergency personnel were quickly on-site, and attended to Rosenqvist, who was taken to the IMS infield medical center. He was evaluated and cleared to drive.

"I'm good," Rosenqvist said after. "It went loose all of a sudden. I could have been up (the track) a little bit. That probably explains it."
