Austin Dillon Will Sit on the Pole for Sunday's Clash Exhibition Race

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - RIS - A Daytona Speedweeks tradition, the Clash is a race for 2017 pole-winners, drivers who have participated in the Clash and many others.  It boggles the mind that only 17 drivers are in the race, given the criteria, but that's the case this year.  Starting positions were determined by a blind draw of number.  Dillon is the lucky winner.  He will start alongside Denny Hamlin.  After Dillon and Hamlin, the rest of the top 10 starters in order were Joey Logano, Erik Jones, Jimmie Johnson, Martin Truex, Jr., Kasey Kahne, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Larson. Rounding out the remaining contestants, it was Ryan Newman in 11th and followed by Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Ryan Blaney, Jamie McMurray, and Brad Keselowski.

Blaney just missed the 200 mph mark, followed closely by Logano, Stenhouse and Keselowski.
