Kyle Benjamin Will Start On The 2nd Annual Pocono Green 250 Pole
Long Pond, PA - RIS - Kyle Benjamin wins the Pole Position for the 2nd Annual Pocono Green 250 set to kick off later today at Pocono International Raceway. Driving the Hisense Toyota #20 around the Tricky Triangle at 172.844 MPH Kyle Benjamin will start inside of Daniel Hemric’s Blue Gate Bank Chevrolet #21, who posted a speed of 172.305 for the event.
Starting second row will be Cole Custer in the HAAS Automation Ford #00. Custer will start next to Justin Algaier the chauffeur of the Allen Myers Chevrolet #7. Algaier sat on the pole until the final stage ran where a little shading of the track surface may have provided a cooer surface to boost other speeds.
Kicking off in the third row is William Byron wheeling the Axalta/Rousseau Chevrolet #9 with Kyle Larson sitting on his door in the Eneos Chevrolet #42. Fourth Row will be home to Daniel Suarez in his Juniper Toyota #18 and Brad Keselowski in the SKF Ford #22.
Fifth Row has Paul Menard in the driver’s seat of the Richmond/Menards Chevrolet #2 and Brennan Poole at the wheel of the DC Solar Chevrolet #48.
This event is set to run to the Checkered Flags at about 1:00 today. So, if all goes well, and you have a great seat I should “See you at the Track!”

Unfortunately the publisher passed away ending the publication. Mike took me onboard the following February while covering Daytona freelance. I also shoot Football, Professional Boxing, and Pennsylvania Dirt Track Racing. Hailing from Reading, Pennsylvania what else would I do. In my real life I am also a sitting Magisterial District Judge... sports coverage is my escape!
