Richmond, VA - RIS - Kyle Larson takes his #42 Credit One Bank Chevrolet to Victory Lane in the 30th Annual ToyotaCare 250. A six car wreckfest on one of three Yellow’s at the end of the event essentially ruined the day for Justin Algaier. Alguire lead 160 of the 250 laps and though it appeared that  Elliot Sadler in his Golden Corral Chevrolt #1 was going to make a statement, I believe Algaier was the king of the field. With six to go the bottom fell out and in the end Justin Algaier would have to swallow a second place finish. He was very vocal about the finish, but I believe he will take the pill and move on to next week.

So, it appeared that it would be a Green, White Checkered, but the six car wreckfest set it to a Yellow/Checkered finish that Kyle Larson would use to his advantage. Justin Algaier would take second. Third place was covered by Daniel Hemric riding the Blue Gate Bank Chevrolet #21. Fourth was Austin Dillon the chauffeur of the Rheem Chevrolet #2, and to round out the top five, fifth was Ryan Blaney in the Discount Tire Ford #22.

Sixth was Darrell Wallace, Jr wheeling the Mellow Yello Ford #6. Seventh went to Elliott Sadler riding the Golden Corral Chevrolet #1, with eighth place finisher, Michael Annett in the Pilot Flying J Chevrolet #5. Ninth was Casey Mears in the Geico Military Ford #98, and to round out the top 10, Spencer Gallagher took the Allegiant Airlines Chevrolet #23 to the stripe.

This finish is un-official until NASCAR has checked  and inspected the rides, and scoring. Last week the rain was the storyline for NASCAR this week it could either be the wrecks at the end or the new found heat on the East Coast. Either way it really was a great way to spend a Saturday, and tomorrows event promises to bring much more excitement.

See you at the track.
