TOYOTA QUOTES
ERIK JONES, No. 20 Hisense Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Are you ok and what happened from your vantage point?
“I don’t know it’s tough to say, I haven’t really seen it (replay) back yet entirely. Somehow the No. 7 (Justin Allgaier) got up the track and I tried to go for the middle and unfortunately I got tagged in the side and got sent into the wall. We worked our way up to the front and thought we had a decent car, it was not quite as good as we needed to be. I think the Hisense Camry could have run up to a top five and had a shot at it. Would have loved to made it to the end and seen what we had, but you know it was just a rough day and didn’t end the way we wanted.”
DANIEL SUÁREZ, No. 18 Juniper Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Talk about what happened out there.
“I feel like we were racing too hard. It’s too early. I don’t really know what happened exactly. I haven’t seen the replay slowly. I feel like we have to be a little bit smarter than that. I just feel like it’s a long race and we should be a little bit more smart.”
