4Wide.TV Highlights World of Outlaws Sprints from the Midwest and Two First Time Winners With the World of Outlaws Late Models

From Illinois to Iowa, and Alabama to Georgia, the World of Outlaws Sprint and Late Model Series toured the eastern half of the US for a weekend full of action-packed dirt track racing at its best.

See the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars from Farmer City as they took on the high-banked quarter mile for the first time in nearly ten years. The series put on one incredible show for fans, with a handful of drivers who were all within striking distance of the lead within the first few laps of the main event. An early race caution involving the top four frontrunners shook up the running order and put Donny Schatz in position to capitalize on the misfortune of the leaders. It was a wild Wednesday night show, and we’ve got all the highlights for you in this week’s episode of 4Wide.TV. We then follow the Greatest Show on Dirt to Knoxville, IA as they take on the semi-banked half- mile of the historic Knoxville Raceway. One driver was able to put himself in victory lane for the 48th time in his career at the famed raceway, earning his 15th World of Outlaws victory on the half mile and the lead in the point standings. We’ve got all the highlights from Sammy Swindell’s win at Knoxville, and you can see them right here at 4Wide.TV.

The World of Outlaws Late Models took on North Alabama Speedway on Friday night and it was a first time victor who came out on top after the 50-lap A-main . In a race with ten caution flags, Brad Neat was able to take his starting spot on the outside pole and rocket straight to the lead, putting on a dominating show for the fans. Plus, we’ve got coverage from Saturday night’s show at Tazewell Speedway where fans saw yet another first time winner, as Rookie of the Year contender Bub McCool held off Scott Bloomquist for his first win with the Outlaws. McCool led all 50 laps of the caution-free race, setting the pace to finish the entire A-main in a record 10 minutes, 47.989 seconds. We’ve got all the highlights, plus victory lane coverage from both North Alabama and Tazewell. Click here to check it out!

We wrap up race coverage with a preview of this weekend’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series doubleheader at the Eldora Speedway. Hear from Steve Kinser, Chad Kemenah, Kerry Madsen, Sammy Swindell and Joey Saldana as they discuss the historic facility and their thoughts as they set their sights on the famed high-banked oval. Plus, we’ve got the updated point standings for both the sprints and the late models!
